Andreas Karlsson

Andreas Karlsson – documents with his camera, and starts with the photo. Then he enhances, removes and adds. He identifies parts of reality and then creates something new, a synergy between real life and imagination that finds its way into a rich color scheme built on overpainting, layer upon layer, creating optical effects. In his intuitive working process, he enjoys losing himself in the interplay of colors.
