Fabian Tholin – relies on intuition, quiet knowledge, which makes it difficult to explain the final intention. He has always been interested in places, but is hard put to define what a place is. Can this perhaps be what remains when nothing has happened? Fabian hopes that his work will reveal more, even more than he is aware of himself. His painting is independent and non-representational. However one must be able to make associations to experiences in order to interpret his work. This openness to associations is the significance of his painting.
