Hilde Høy – often creates works that engage the viewer by being both poetic and mysterious, which can evoke a sense of intimacy or wonder. The landscapes she paints are often inspired by simple everyday life, but also by dreams and the unconscious. When a silent dialogue begins to develop between the viewer and the painting, her work is complete and she can let go. The painting begins to live its own life.
